Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) and California Water Institute at Fresno State present a free, half-day public event to discuss key water issues facing the region. Panels of local leaders and experts will review findings from a new PPIC report that highlights options for addressing challenges facing farms, communities and ecosystems. The discussion will take into account new opportunities for management under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.

Research for the PPIC report was supported with funding from the S.D. Bechtel Jr. Foundation, the TomKat Foundation and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Registration is free; but space is limited. Breakfast and lunch will be provided
